I'm happy with my decision to go with the Harbinger balance trainer. It's thick material, the nubs are substantial and great for traction, and the other side with small, smooth nubs are great for my office chair. The 13" platform allows me to stand on it with no problem, but because of my balance issues, I chose to purchase two of them for different positions of squats. Sitting on this for abs, in a "V" position is a challenge. I can feel it working just after a few sessions, and I work out 4-7 times a week.

When I first heard about kettlebells they looked like so much fun so I bought this set which was reasonably priced (and you gotta love free shipping from Amazon!) Eventually, as you get stronger you will need to buy heavier kettlebells (the ones by Jfit, 30#, 40#, and 50# are solid) but these are just fine to get you going and they're light enough that the whole family can have fun working out together. Solid, consistent construction, nice vinyl protective cover. Once you get them, do yourself a favor and visit youtube and watch phil scarito teach you how to use them properly (no, I'm not him and no, he's not paying me.) There are a lot of fools out there that think they're showing you proper form that will get you hurt but phil's the real deal. I'm in the best shape of my life and I owe it all to kettlebells!

It's been a very wet, slippery and muddy winter causing many slips and some falls. Doing one very wet, slippery adventure race convinced me that any improvement in traction would be worth it. Preventing one fall with injury easily justifies the cost of a pair of shoes. The increased traction and stability provided with the GT-2150s is incredible and I'm running with more confidence. Great shoes. Now if it would stop raining so much.

Apparently the connection (pickup) placed near the pedal assembly was misplaced. The service tech offered to either return the bike to Amazon or fix it myself using replacements parts. I chose to return.

So, what cost them the star? They're loose with low weight. Let me explain. I decided to start out with just two pounds (one bag). I'm a skinny guy. Even with the straps pulled as far they can go, there was still a lot of play. I'm using them for leg lifts, so it's not an issue for me, but it would be rather annoying if you were using them while running. Now, as you add weights, they take up the slack. With eight or ten pounds (four or five bags) in these, they are fine. Just something to keep in mind if you're looking to start out with low weight and do things involving a lot of movement.

I own a road bike (Raleigh Cadent 2.0), and use it mostly for commuting, though a couple of times a week I will train on it. I wanted a small, reliable and practical bell for alerting pedestrians (they don't always heed my voice, and a bell should catch their attention more being that people seem hard-wired to respond to bells and horns).



Pros:

- Small Size does not interfere with look or functionality of handlebars.

- Bracket fits different sized handlebars and does it WELL and SNUG.



Cons:

- Thumb-action ringer does not appear to be the sturdiest, we will wait and see how long it lasts.





It only takes a small screwdriver, cross or flat-tip, to put on to your handlebars,and the plastic mount appears sturdy, as does the tin bell itself. The size and bracket offers a variety of mounting options, which is a plus particularly for drop-handlebars.

The Schwinn No Pressure Seat in each case did not perform well and it only took 10 seconds of use to reach this conclusion. It creates a crease line going across each leg where bending over the edge of the seat. Should a recumbent bike be used, then this seat would be suitable. For any normal bicycle (coaster, 10 speed or BMX etc.) where the pedals are below the seat, then this seat is NOT for you!

It says that they are adjustable in size to fit a larger bike, but since they are designed to fit many different bikes they are not as sturdy as previous sets we've had that were designed for the bikes they came with. If you have a child that is older and may be harder on the bike than a three year old would be, its possible that one side of the training wheels might rotate out of position if knocked or kicked out of place. Its easy to put it back into position and retighten it, but i've noticed I can knock it out of position with a good hard whack of the hand. Overall these are still very good for the price we paid for them and are working well for our son.

Before exercising it worked fine, I got a reading every time.



After I started exercising, I wasn't able to get a reading at all, I tried dozens of times, I wet my fingers as the instructions suggested.. nothing...



Then I took the watch off, I put the pads of 2 fingers on my left hand on the metal back of the watch, and the two pads of my fingers on the right hand on the sensors as usual... it works this way almost every time..



Strange, but as long as it's working I'm happy, I just leave the watch on a table and pick it up when I want to check my HR.

After researching several trunk-mounted bike carriers, I settled on this one based on the reviews and it's reasonable price ($40 at Walmart). It certainly has not disappointed.



I own a 2008 Honda Accord and this product fits perfectly. If you're unsure of whether or not this model will fit your vehicle, there is a comprehensive breakdown on the back of the box that will show you which vehicles it will fit. I use this carrier to transport a Schwinn road bike that weighs approximately 30 pounds and I couldn't ask for a better product. The quality of this carrier is top-notch and it takes maybe 2 minutes to mount.



Positives:



Quality Construction - I can't stress this aspect enough. Every piece of this bike rack is top-notch.

Easy to mount - Even the first time was simple and took less than 3 minutes.

Stability - I've driven 75 mph with my bike mounted and have had complete confidence in the stability of this rack. Even on a bumpy road I have no worries.

Value - For only $40, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better deal.



Negative:



This is true of most any bike carrier, but it could be easily stolen. Whenever I'm riding, I simply put inside my trunk. Not a big deal as it only takes a few minutes to re-mount.



Tips:



*As several people have mentioned, this bike rack will not fit all bikes. This is common of most bike carriers. If your bike does not have a horizontal bar on the frame, you will need an adapter to mount your bike.



*If you're mounting two bikes, be sure to make the dual straps on the trunk of your car as long as possible. This will help keep your bikes from bumping into the back of your vehicle.

Delivery was quick and the bell quality is excellent. It doesn't make much noise on the handlebar when I hit some bumps. I keep it next to my left index finger about 3/4 of an inch from the end of my left hand grip. ++ New Balance Men s MT572 Trail Running Shoe

I bought this shoe at a FootLocker for $65.



I wish I bought them here since they're cheaper.



I use them for running on a 3.5 mile dirt and grass path that runs near my house. It should be noted these running shoes are NOT made for running on pavement. I bought some New Balace MR7500's for that. These do not have the shock absorption for running on hard surfaces, it gave me shin splints after just 2 miles with these shoes.



However, on a trail (as their design suggests) they are incredibley comfortable. I also like the dark colors with bright yellow streaks. Plus the shoe is also very light, and the mesh top keeps cool air flowing over your foot. Very nice effect.



I only give it 4 stars since after 5 miles on semi-hard, or 2 miles on very hard surfaces I get shin splints with these shoes. With my MR7500's I get no shin splints on hard surfaces for up to 10+ miles.



But its a trail running shoe made for running over dirt and grass. If you intend to run on trails in the woods this is your shoe.
