I really love hooping and would recomend it to anyone, and this hoop is perfect for beginner to advanced hoopers because you can change the size of the hoop by taking out a segment. Also, the hoop came with an instructional dvd, which was very helpful. My only complaint is that two of the nails in the hoop fell out the first day I used it, and another nail sticks out and sometimes gets caught on my clothes. If you get a regular hoop from hoopnotica you will not have this problem, its just that the travel hoop is put together with little nails.
