We just finished assembling our new Trail Gator and taking it for a test ride, and it seems to be the perfect solution for our family. It was a bit tricky to assemble, but no more than I expected from equipment not tailor-made to our specific bikes, and there were enough fittings included that we were able to make it fit very well. It seems to be extremely sturdy and well made and not in the least bit dangerous. I have been carrying my 4 yr. old son in a bike seat on the back of my bike, which works great for smooth rides, but it can get a bit scary on rough terrain. I think the Trail Gator is going to work great for us on the more hilly and curvy trails that we sometimes like to take, plus, this way our son gets a bit of exercise along the way. Great product = Lots of fun!
