I am quite impressed with the brightness of these lights. They do not light the road up, but make me very visible to traffic. Options for the lights include flashing, static and alternating lights. The lights came powered and ready to use. I don't ride frequently at dusk and beyond, but it has been a month and I have not had to recharge (used about 4 times - 30 minute ride each).
The lights attach with a velcro strap. I have had no problems with them falling off and I ride in the city on somewhat bumpy roads. I remove the lights when I lock my bike up outside because they are easy to remove and I don't want them stolen.
So far, I have no regrets about the product or the money spent for them.
